UlcerMagic Mouth Ulcer and Canker Sore Treatment

UlcerMagic is a liquid for canker sores (aphthous ulcers) and mouth ulcers. A single application is designed to relieve ulcer pain within seconds and forms a protective barrier over the ulcer, so the tissue underneath can heal naturally. After treatment with UlcerMagic, the ulcer typically heals within 3 to 5 days. It is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 12 and over.

What it is

UlcerMagic is a liquid debriding agent classified as a medical device. It works on the surface of the ulcer to create a protective layer that shields it from further irritation from food, drink or brushing. It can help with canker sores and with ulcers caused by braces, dentures or minor injuries.

How to use

1. Dry the ulcer thoroughly with a cotton bud.
2. Open the vial and dip a cotton applicator in it for at least 10 seconds.
3. Apply to the ulcer for 10 seconds, using a rolling motion to cover it completely.
4. Rinse your mouth well with water and spit it out. Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes.

A brief sting and a white patch on the ulcer are normal. If pain continues after a few minutes, a small area may have been missed; reapply once and rinse. Do not reapply during the healing period.

2 × 0.25 ml vials of UlcerMagic solution, four cotton applicators and an instruction leaflet.

Precautions

• Do not use in children under 12, during pregnancy, if you are allergic to sulfur, or on cold sores or fever blisters.
• If excessive irritation occurs, rinse with water and stop use.
• Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Use within 3 years of manufacture.

See your doctor or dentist if an ulcer lasts longer than 3 weeks, is larger than usual or near the back of the throat, or bleeds or becomes more painful and red.
